Wedding Melanie & Frank

About 3 years ago I accompanied Sonja & Jörg at their wedding in Rheinhessen. I am very happy that I accompanied Sonja’s brother Frank and Melanie as well at their most beautiful day in their life on last Saturday. After the shooting with the bridal couple at the beautiful Schloß Waldthausen near Mainz, the wedding ceremony took place in Jordan’s Untermühle in Köngernheim in the Rheinhessen region. The celebration took then place in the Paulinenhof in Selzen, which is in Rheinhessen as well.

Wedding Farina & Jim

Just in time before moving in together in Hamburg, last Friday Farina & Jim got married in Wiesbaden with the celebration being held in in Mainz.

We met in Mainz-Kastel close to the Bastion von Schönborn for the shooting with the bridal couple between the marriage ceremony and the celebration.

MAINZ IM QUADRAT – Impressions of the Exhibition

This year querformat-fotografie again presented his work in the great environment of the Weinhöfefest in Harxheim.

Those, who have not been able to visit the exhibition, will find some impressions from the exhibitions below. Besides the great interest in my motives from Mainz the launch of my Table Calendar 2015 has been very successful.

The stylish Table Calendar 2015 and a some selected motives from my MAINZ IM QUADRAT Series will be available soon at the Mainz Tourist Service Center in the ‘Brückenturm’ in Mainz or by directly contact me.

My MAINZ IM QUADRAT Series will continue to be available at the Altstadt Galerie Lehnert. Larger formats in several materials can be ordered via the contact form.

Christening and Wedding in the wonderful Palatinate Region

Enjoy the litte pre-view for Caroline & Michael, who got married last Saturday in Lindenberg which is close to Bad Dürkheim in the Palatine Region and for their tiny daughter Emma who got christened. The Ceremony and champagne reception was followed by a shooting in the whine yards. The celebration with all their lovely guests took place at the restaurant Bacchus in Kallstadt …

    ich hätte gerne zwei Kalender. Einen würde ich bis Mitte November 2014 brauchen, da ich ihn verschenken möchte.

Summer Art Festival in Ohda-City, Shimane, Japan

Whilst the preperation for my exhibition MAINZ IM QUADRAT in Harxheim near Mainz are in full swing, some of my work is presented at the could be seen in Japan at the Summer Art Festival in Shimane.

According to an old Japanese tradition a priest and the organizer of the exhibition worshiped shintoistic and buddhistic Gods, that all runs well with the Summer Art Festival.

At the opening on August 1st 2014 around 400 Visitors have been counted at the exhibition, which can be seen until 31st of August in Ohda-City, Shimane.

The „Summer Art Festival “ takes place in Ohda-City, Shimane. Ohda-City is located on the south-west-coast of Japan. The City at the beautiful Japanese sea is very popular with Tourists.

In case you are around … just look into it, it’s always worth it. The exhibition will be opened daily from 11 tip 17 h until 31st of August.

Wedding in the Rheingau – Franziska & Manuel

It was more or less exactly 2 years ago that Christine & Christoph celebrated their wedding in the Rheingau. I am happy that I accompanied Christoph’s sister Franziska and her Manuel at the most beautiful day in their life on last Saturday in Lorchhausen, Geisenheim and Oestrich-Winkel.

This year querformat-fotografie presents again his work in the great environment of the Weinhöfefest in Harxheim from August 22nd until 25th of August 2014 .

With the exhibition “Mainz im Quadrat” I am presenting well known Mainz views in an exciting way.

Besides the popular MAINZ IM QUADRATseries laminated on 3cm thick MDF-boards I will present as well old and new motives in larger formats and different materials.

Wedding Melanie & Alex

After being married one year ago at the civil registry office, Melanie & Alexander got married in a church in Wiesbaden last Saturday.

Originally we planned to meet each other in the Wiesbadener Kurpark for a photo shooting prior to the marriage. However, this Saturday the park was closed due to bad weather with damage caused by a flood the evening before. Spontaneously we decided to do the photoshooting in the arcade of the State theatre in Wiesbaden.

After the shooting I accompanied Melanie & Alex with a little wedding reportage during the ceremony in the church and the subsequent champagne reception. The celebration took place in the Orangerie in Wiesbaden Aukamm.

Before the two start into their honeymoon in a week time, there is already a little Pre-View of the shooting …
